Week 3: Spirulina Green Smoothie

Welcome to Week 3 of our green smoothie challenge! This week we have a great recipe from Jessica Victoria, Naturopath and expert on all things Women’s Health and Hormones!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of greens (spinach, kale, romaine, Swiss chard or other)

  • 1/2 cup of frozen mango, pineapple or peaches

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • 2 celery stalks

  • 1 small piece of fresh ginger

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • 1 tsp Hawaiian Spirulina

  • 1/4 cup of hemp hearts

  • 1 cup of water (or you can use coconut water)

  • 1/2 cup of plant based milk of choice

  • Ice

  • Optional: 1-2 tsp of maple syrup

How to:

  • Add all the ingredients into the blender and blend until nice and smooth!
