Week 2: January Challenge

Week 2 will be fun since we have more snow to play with and try out new activities!?

Don't forget, the idea of the challenge is to get you outside and to move each day. I know it’s not always easy, but even if you can get out for 10-15 min that’s great! I promise you, a little exercise and fresh air will do you some good :)

Let’s motivate each other to get out there and move. Make sure each week to send me pics to prove you got outside and you will be entered into a draw to win some fun prizes! It would be awesome if some of you can post up on Instagram or Facebook and tag Studio Vie so I know you put something up.

WEEK 2:

Cross-country skiing

Keep it simple! Now that we have more snow, you can go cross-country skiing in a park close to you to start off…

**If you don’t have a pair of cross-country skis, try and borrow one from a friend or family and otherwise get out for a walk and make sure you get in some intervals with some hills, stairs or pick up the pace!

**If you can’t get outside then make sure to do some stair intervals inside!

Examples of other outdoor activities to include in your week:

  • walking

  • nordic walking or hiking

  • tobogonning (as long as you walk up the hill each time!)

  • Playing outdoors with the kids

  • winter running

  • snowshoeing
