Week 2: Hydrate Yourself Challenge
This week I have a special guest Naturopath Jessica Victoria who specializes in women’s health. She is sharing her hydration tip!
Did you know that most water filters also remove the good minerals that your body needs to actually absorb water into the cells for true hydration?
Drinking litres of water without adding minerals back in won’t actually result in optimal hydration.
Without sufficient levels of minerals we cannot make hormones, digest food, get good quality sleep, balance our blood sugar, move toxins out of the body and properly deal with stress.
My favourite way to add minerals back into my water are trace minerals which I usually just add directly into a large pitcher of water or a dash of mineral Salk like Celtic sea salt.
