Vegan Nog
This has become a recipe that I make every year for the Holidays! It’s a favourite in my classes since I make as a healthy treat to those who make it to class the last 2 weeks before the break. I wanted to share the recipe so you can make it at home for you and the kids.
Ingredients:
2 cups of soy milk, cashew or coconut milk (cashew and coconut milk will make it creamier)
1 tsp of nutmeg
1 Tbs of cinnamon
1 Tbs of maple syrup
Splash of vanilla extract
*Add all of the ingredients into the blender. Blend until smooth and enjoy ;)
Let me know what you think..you can always spike it with run for the adults or add some protein powder to make it a protein smoothie or post-workout drink!
