Lavender Moon Milk

This is a perfect sleepy-time drink that you can enjoy in the evening before going to bed!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of oat milk, almond milk (or any type of plant based milk of choice)

  • 1 Tbs of dried lavender buds (culinary grade) or 1 tea bag of lavender

  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp of vanilla powder

  • 1/2 tsp of honey

How to:

  • I like to make this as a latte so I steep my lavender tea bag or loose lavender buds for a few minutes in 1/4 cup of boiling water and add your honey

  • I use a frother to froth my milk

  • Add the frothed milk to the tea and sprinkle a few lavender buds on top for decoration, but not necessary!

Stove-top variation:

  • Slowly warm your milk in a small pot, once warm but not boiling, add your tea bag or your lavender buds to steep for a few minutes (3-5min) and then put it in your blender to mix up and it will froth your milk at the same time!

  • Add the lavender buds to the top for decoration (optional)
