Homemade Granola
This is my families favorite granola recipe.... Try it out!
Ingredients:
-1.5 cups of raw almonds (chopped up or put in a food processor to cut/blend up
-1 1/4 cup of old fashioned oats
-1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
-1/4 cup of sunflower seeds
-2 Tbs of ground cinnamon
-1/4 tsp of sea salt
-1/4 cup of maple syrup (or you can use honey)
-1/4 cup of avocado oil
-2 tsp of vanilla extract
Add on's (once the granola is baked)
-raisins, cranberries, chia, hemp hearts
How to:
-Preheat the oven to 275F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
-Mix all ingredients together and then spread onto your baking sheet
-Bake for 20 min and then rotate the pan and bake for another 15-20min or until the granola is lightly golden and firm to touch.
-Let the granola cool and then you can break it up and store in a mason jar.
-Enjoy it with a plant based milk or yogurt topped with berries or the add on's that I mentioned above!
