Week 2: Golden Milk Latte

Golden milk is one of my favorites especially during the fall/winter flu season, since it’s immune boosting! It’s caffeine free and delish!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of your favorite plant based milk (I used oat milk to switch it up in this recipe but like to use almond milk or coconut milk also)

  • 1-2 tsp of vanilla extract or 1/2 tsp of vanilla powder (loving this)

  • 1-2 Tbs of turmeric powder

  • A sprinkle of black pepper powder (it helps to absorb the turmeric better)

  • 1-2 tsp of cinnamon powder

  • Maple syrup to taste (I usually use 1-2 Tbs but depends on the batch)

  • 1 inch of fresh ginger grated

Blend it all up and enjoy warm or cold! You can also put it in the frother as another alternative!

*Just like the pink latte, Organic Traditions does make a turmeric latte blend that I have been meaning to buy and try it out….
