Cinnamon Bun Smoothie

Welcome to Week 3 of the Fall Smoothie Challenge!

I love to put cinnamon in everything especially during this fall season….anyone else?

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of plant based milk (almond, oat etc)

  • 1 Tbs of maple syrup

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

  • 1 tsp of vanilla ext (or 1/4 tsp of vanilla powder)

  • 1 tsp of ground flax

  • 1 tsp of chia (or hemp hearts)

  • 1/4 cup of oats

  • 1/2 banana (optional but makes the smoothie thicker OR simply add 5 ice cubes instead)

How to:

  • Put all of the above ingredients into the blender and blend until your desired consistency.

  • If you want the smoothie to be more thick add more ice cubes

  • Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top ;)

**Want to get in your greens at the same time? Add in a handful of spinach and it won’t even compromise the taste of your cinnamon bun smoothie!

**Bump up the protein or keep you going longer? Add some pumkin seed protein powder, vegan protein powder or 1Tbsp of chia, flax and hemp.
