Chocolate Smoothie Bowl

chocolatesmoothiebowlfinal.jpg

This smoothie bowl was a bit hit in my household! The fun part for the kids is that they get to choose their toppings and personalize the bowl for themselves…Thanks to Yasmin and her smoothie bowl workshop for the inspiration ;). If you missed the workshop let me know, you can still join to receive the recording and otherwise I am sure we will do more.

The following is Yasmin’s recipe that I just measured to make it easier for everyone to follow. I will added in a few variations depending on what you have at home.

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop of Arbonne chocolate protein powder (You can use whatever protein powder you have and add 1 Tbs of cocoa powder. If you don’t have protein powder use 1 Tbs of hemp hearts and 1 Tbs of chia)

  • 1/2 scoop of Arbonne fiber (you can use 1 Tbs of ground flaxseed)

  • 1 cup of cauliflower (frozen helps with the thickness)

  • 1/2 frozen banana (add a full frozen banana to make it more thick if needed)

  • Add splash of maple syrup if needed or if you are adding in the cacao powder

Toppings to decorate your bowl:

  • Granola

  • Sliced bananas

  • Sliced strawberries (or fruit of choice)

  • shredded coconut

  • cacao nibs

  • gogi berries (optional just thought it would be a good addition if you have any)

How to:

  • Blend up the ingredients until thick and smooth

  • Pour into a bowl and decorate with your toppings

Enjoy!
