Chia Fresca a.k.a Chia Water!
This is a great refreshing and hydrating drink....Here are some of the benefits of Chia and why it's so good for you...contains:
Omega's 3's
Fiber
Protein
Magnesium
Calcium
Iron
Ingredients:
Water
Lemon or lime juice (and if I don't happen to have that in the house I just put a drop of Doterra lemon, lime or grapefruit essential oil)
1 tsp of chia
How to:
Fill a mason jar, glass or water bottle with water
Add 1 tsp of chia (if you are using a water bottle you can put 1 Tbs)
Squeeze your lemon or lime slice into your chia water
I like using a water bottle or mason jar so I can then put on the top and shake it up a few times so that the chia can absorb the water and get a little jelly like....otherwise just use a spoon to stir the chia water!
*Optional: add in10 mineral drops or a pinch of Celtic salt
Use Aussie Mineral Drops or Trace Minerals: ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops
And voila!
Enjoy this simple but hydrating drink...you can have it to drink on a hot day, during a workout or anytime really...
