Week 1: Apple Pie Smoothie

Welcome to Week 1 of our Fall Smoothie Challenge!

Ingredients:

  • 1 large apple or 2 medium organic apples (I peeled them to make sure the smoothie came out nice and smooth but you can also leave the skins on)

  • 1/2 frozen banana (optional but if you want more sweetness or like your smoothie more thick) OR add in a few ice cubes

  • 1 cup of almond milk, oat milk or any plant based milk of choice

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp of vanilla powder

  • 1/4 cup of oats

  • 1 tsp of ground flax

  • 1-2 Tbs of maple syrup

How to:

  • Add all of your ingredients into the blender and blend up until your desired consistency. If you want it more thick: add in a few ice cubes or more liquid: add in some more milk or water
